We help people stay in their homes. We help feed and clothe families. We help send children to camp. We help students with college expenses. With the support of foundations, businesses, civic organizations and individuals, we do this and more each year.

Program Results
Person-to-Person provides goods and services for those with limited resources to help them meet the challenges of daily life.
We all know life is full of uncertainties. For those with no financial cushion the unexpected can be overwhelming. What if you were hurt on a job? What if you became a single parent? What if you couldn’t make ends meet, even with two jobs?
That’s where Person-to-Person comes in.
We offer services to people who need a helping hand. And we are able to do so because we have the support of individuals, businesses, community organizations and foundations in Lower Fairfield County.
In 2009, we provided assistance to 24,780 men, women and children, while 2,639 people
volunteered 61,552 hours of their time.
Emergency Food Pantry: Groceries to 12,880 people for more than 148,000 nutritious meals.
Eviction Mediation: Eviction prevention for 37 families.
Clothing Center: Free gently-used clothing, shoes and coats for 4,600 families.
Scholarship Program: 142 college students received $251,000 in financial assistance.
Emergency Assistance Program: 813 families received financial assistance to help pay for rent, security deposits and utilities; 281 baby layettes were delivered to low- income parents.
Campership Program: 444 Stamford school children attended summer camp.
